Bridget is a vibrant emerging abstract artist. Her paintings reveal a wide range of expression and exploration. They are bold and playful, experimental, colorful and spontaneous much like Bridget. Possibly her greatest influence comes from having two sons that are seventeen years apart in age and being immersed in all that life offers.
She expresses an incredibly dynamic life in her works. With a rich background of over 20 years as an actress and a model..She has always been passionate about the arts. Bridget began taking a strong interest in visual and expressive arts when her son Zak attended public school full time. She saw the need for creative programing and that became an opportunity to build and implement creative expressive outlets into the public schools and communities. She went on to introduce after-school programs in several schools, offering drama and mask making, sculpture and painting. She also implemented hip hop/ break dancing and graffiti art into middle schools after school programing. She later went on to teach adults acrylic painting classes.
Another big shift happen for Bridget when she decided to go to clown school back in 1998 which she attributes to her intuitive and spontaneous approach with painting.
Bridget’s paintings become a powerful experience and are most impressive viewing in person, at her shows or at Bridget’s studio. Her work can be found in galleries, cafes, restaurants, corporate offices, health and fitness centers and financial institutes through out downtown Toronto, Canada. Recently in July 2012 she was selected for the 51st annual art exhibit. Bridget had a successful show of her works in The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibit. She works with individual clients, art dealers and interior designers and has created several commission pieces.
