Artist Statement
Happy is a feeling of joy, pleasure, or good fortune. I am a strong believer that you should strive to do what makes you happy. Happiness doesn’t just come to you. You can make changes in your life that will put you on a path to a happier life.
In early 2020 when we were all quarantined at home, I started a new venture and found a new passion. My first at-home activity was to paint. That feeling of joy and pleasure is what I experienced when painting and still do to this day.
I create artwork with you in mind. I explore themes of happiness, joy, love, passion, and positivity. Happiness is contagious. When you look at my work, my hope is that it makes you smile and think positive thoughts. That optimism can be infectious, and you should spread it onto others.
I plan to continue spreading a message of positivity through my art, as well as raise awareness for the causes that I am passionate about. Nothing makes me happier than when my art puts a smile on someone else’s face.
